The Bear

Illustrator Paul Reid has taken a play on the classic words from a Teddy Bear’s Picnic – “If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise…” for his Bear design. The surprise is that because of the Scultpture trail all of the Bears have left the woods and now they’re hiding around the city!

His Bear Unbearleafable, is inspired by all the parks and woods around Sheffield – where the bears usually like to hide.

Paul Reid is an illustrator based in Sheffield. His work has featured in newspapers, magazines, and websites for a variety of international clients. He can often be found in Endcliffe Park or Whitely Woods, walking his canine studio companion, Jasper.
