Sheffield Hallam University has joined the Bears of Sheffield project as Headline Sponsor, bringing their expertise into a few little extras which you will see along the way on the trail! Meadowhall is a long-standing supporter of Sheffield Children’s Hospital, most recently selling charitable face coverings in support of the charity as well as raising donations through its in-centre Giving Box.
Since opening in 1990, Meadowhall has been at the heart of the Sheffield community, committed to bringing people together and supporting organisations and charities across the city.
The centre will be sponsoring two large bears on the trail as well as housing four large bears and few of the smaller bears in the centre over the Summer. In October, Meadowhall will also be hosting the farewell event where all of the bears from across the trail will come together for one final farewell.

Twinkl was founded in 2010 with a mission to help those who teach and this is still central to everything it does today. Twinkl joined the Bears of Sheffield project as Education Partner offering a wide range of high-quality, trusted educational materials, which are all teacher approved. This ranges from presentations in school assemblies to educational games, crafts and much more. Twinkl are also helping around 16 schools design their Bear offering individual advice and support.

Heart Yorkshire is the home of Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden every weekday morning, turning up the feel good on FM, DAB, online at heart.co.uk or by saying ‘play Heart’ to your smart speaker. Then Dixie and Emma get Yorkshire home with the best feel good music and chat from 4pm. Heart will be supporting the trail on the radio and bringing their listeners all the latest news and events from the Bears.

The Star is Sheffield’s top news service providing daily news and sport in print since 1887 – as well as all your breaking news online 24 hours a day. The Star have joined the Bears of Sheffield sculpture trail as media partner and are set to report on all the latest news and events as well as feature on how the Bears will make a different to Sheffield Children’s.

Travel South Yorkshire is the driving force behind public transport across South Yorkshire. They have teamed up with the Bears of Sheffield project supporting the trail map and how public transport in the Sheffield City Region can support the public taking part in trail.

Sheffield City Council have been an advocate and supporter of the Herd of elephants and now the Bears of Sheffield. The trail would not be possible without their support and help over the sculpture locations. The council have been key on making sure the trail is safe and that the Bears home in the city are the best they could possibly be.

Sheffield based graphic design agency North Creative Studio have helped bring the bears to life. The creative style for the campaign is a playful, fun, colourful and inspiring so it appeals to the public, residents, businesses and schools to engage with the campaign.
The Bears of Sheffield campaign builds on the legacy of the successful 2016 Herd of Sheffield campaign, which North Creative Studio were also a big part of the project. Successful work comes from a strong relationship between the client and agency and that can easily be seen with The Children’s Hospital Charity and North Creative Studio with all that they produce to support Sheffield Children’s.

DBL Logistics are a local, family-owned transport company dedicated to providing the best possible pallet delivery service. They have been helping to deliver and collect the bears from artists home locations which is no small project. The artists taking part in the project are based from as far as Scotland through to London and with social distancing being able to delver the Bears to home addresses has been invaluable.

Can you imagine how much bubble wrap is needed for one bear to make sure he travels safely! Now times that by 60 which equates to a huge supply of bubble wrap and brown tape.
