The Bear

Ruby Fox creates magical installations and set designs for a range of different settings such as festivals, theatrical scenery and window displays. Her Bear design is a reflection of her distinctive style and colourful illustration work. She has named her sculpture, Lathaniel the Fabulous Bear, the design has splashes of bright colours and patterns and is inspired by beauty, individuality, colour and joy.

Ruby Fox
Ruby Fox is a designer, living and working in Sheffield. She creates magical installations and set designs for a range of different settings such as festivals, theatrical scenery and window displays. Since 2015 Ruby has worked with clients to design bespoke installations and sets, fabricated them and installed them. This has seen her work in theatre, retail display and festival decor. She has also worked as a freelance prop maker and set dresser for immersive theatre, events and TV productions. In her spare time she has  created sets for musicians to perform in at her DIY event space. Ruby generally works in 3D space and enjoys collaboration and experimenting with new materials, as well as bringing video into her work. She is currently working on research and development for a new immersive production for Sheffield, with generous support from Arts Council England’s National Lottery Project Grants.
