The Bear
Phil Root’s design for Landscape Bear uses a recurring motif, one of a simplified landscape with day on the front and night on the reverse.
The design symbolises our connection to nature and our desire to be within a landscape where there are no urban markers. The images created by the Bear should activate our collective imagination, the sun making the hills wave with energy and the snaking path carving a way forward could be a river or road leading us into unknown territory.
