The Bear
Henry Henderson blended the first batch of this famous Relish in Sheffield in 1885. More than 130 years later, Henderson’s Relish is still a family business, and blended in Sheffield from a secret recipe, known only to three family members. Henderson’s Relish is known fondly by many as ‘Hendo’s’ and is a much-loved brand of Sheffield.
The inspiration behind the Hendo’s Bear encapsulates all that is important to Henderson’s Relish; featuring a collection of words chosen by Henderson’s themselves that are significant to their brand. The design will be hand-lettered across the Bear in one of artist Oli Frape’s typographic treatments, using the distinctive and recognisable orange brand colours.
