The Bear

Artist Kyle Platts’ design for his Bear reflects a personal childhood memory, his summers growing up in Sheffield. During these summers he would collect the flowers of the Buddleia, also known as the ‘Butterfly Bush’, from his Grandad’s garden to attract butterflies. The design of his Bear, with its bold and bright colours, attempts to capture the excitement and intrigue that nature provoked in him from an early age.
