Beck Primary School

Beck Primary School are joined with Hucklow Primary School, Owler Brook Primary School and Whiteways Primary School under a Multi Academy Trust called Cascade Academy. This is an exciting time as all four local schools begin to work together.

Beck Primary School’s aim is to provide a high quality education for all with a broad and balanced curriculum. They want children to be excited about their learning and to enjoy coming to school. They firmly believe that learning is a journey and they aim to create memorable experiences that accelerate children’s understanding and achievements.

To a Brighter Future

The children were asked to create ideas for how their Bear would represent a brighter future for the children at Beck Primary School. 230 children chose to contribute ideas and a selection of ideas were put together to create their final Bear design.

The back of their Bear design represents the children’s appreciation for keyworkers during the COVID pandemic, including NHS workers. The front of the Bear is colourful, incorporating rainbow colours and represents the children’s hopes for the future. This includes being able to hug their friends and family.
