The Bear

Sheffield Allsorts designed by PAPERFACE is a celebration of all the great things about Sheffield, brought together to create one giant skyline. The design of the Bear reveals hidden stories about Sheffield, some well known and others that are perhaps are less well known.

From the first Brit in space, Helen Sharman, floating out of a spray paint can, to the giant stack of iconic Liquorice Allsorts, viewers can walk around the Bear and spot different aspects of Sheffield from every angle in the hopes of sparking conversation.

PAPERFACE
Abi Langridge, known as PAPERFACE is a freelance illustrator and designer based in Yorkshire whose work was exhibited at Somerset House last summer for The World Illustration Awards. She works in a bold and graphic style on a wide range of projects from editorial illustration, packaging, brand development and more. Abi has been drawn to illustration since childhood. She received a degree in graphic design from Leeds University, before working in London and New York, later returning to the UK and settling in Yorkshire. Her time in the US is a big source of inspiration, with the landscape, culture, people, food and wildlife across the country feeding into her personal work.
