The Bear

For her Bear design, artist Sarah Abbott has taken inspiration from the original location of the Bear sculpture on which the trail is inspired – the Bear pit in Sheffield’s Botanical Gardens. Her design takes on a tropical form, the leaves and plants incorporated on the Bear’s surface make reference to the Botanical Gardens Glasshouse and the tropical plants that are housed there.
